A built-in cupboard under the stairs is ideal storage space for your luggage and where ‘henry the hoover’ can be found.
The staircase leads off the living room to the two bedrooms upstairs and the glass door at the rear of the living room leads to the spacious kitchen/breakfast room.
Kitchen / Breakfast Room
The kitchen/breakfast room is newly renovated with a smart contemporary kitchen with dishwasher, larder fridge, electric cooker & gas hob, tabletop freezer and microwave. The kitchen benefits from Spanish terra-cotta coloured ceramic floor tiles. Around a lovely country table is a local wooden pew and four chairs, so plenty of room to cook and eat in the kitchen. There is a walk in cupboard for storage of cleaning materials and houses the tabletop freezer and recycling bins. The stylish fitted kitchen is fully fitted with most utensils you would need for cooking your full Welsh breakfast or your evening meals. A few cupboards have been left empty so you have plenty of space to put your holiday foods.
Recycling containers for food waste / glass / paper / plastics and general waste are available to contribute reducing the carbon footprint whilst on holiday in this beautiful area.
Upstairs are two carpeted double oak beamed bedrooms, both beds are fitted with thick mattresses for comfort. The front bedroom has a double bed (standard 4ft 6″), chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe with an additional spare blanket, divas and pillows. There is a hair dryer available stored in the hanging storage of the wardrobe.
The second bedroom is the smaller of the two bedrooms with a small double bed (4ft), chest of drawers and a rail from the beam to hang a limited number of clothes. There is a hair dryer in the top drawer of the chest of drawers. Both rooms are provided with paper tissues and cotton wool pads. Please note bedlinen and duvets are supplied but personal towels are only available on request for an additional cost of £20.00. Each room has a beautiful Welsh woollen throw and Welsh woollen cushion for your comfort.
The spacious and light bathroom is luxuriously equipped with a free standing roll top bath which is ideal to unwind and relax in. There is a separate power shower unit with a very large shower head and a smaller one for your luxurious shower, toilet and washbasin. The bathroom is located on the ground floor.
The patio is a lovely area in the summer sun to enjoy an alfresco meal or a glass of chilled wine in the long summer evenings. It is also a safe area for your children to play or your pet to roam as it is enclosed by stone walls.
A private parking space is available for one car to park during your stay just around the corner at Chancery Court (directions will be given).
Please note that Chancery Lane is a single narrow lane and restricted by other residents parked cars so you may need to be patient on arrival when unloading and loading.
